You might encounter intermittent looping or an abend during SAS termination when you use SAS^® 9.4M4 (TS1M4) and later. This issue has been seen only when normal SAS termination begins after you use the SIGNOFF command to disconnect SAS/CONNECT^® from a remote connection.

In this scenario, the SAS log contains the normal SAS session used messages. 

The problem can occur only during a small time frame. It is recommended that any sites running SAS 9.4M4 and later should apply the hot fix in order to mitigate the potential for this issue.
